The Level 3 Photography course at Accrington & Rossendale College explores communication through the medium of photography in a commercial context, examining photography techniques and professional practice.
The course focuses on photography for magazines, newspapers, books, exhibitions and new media. It concentrates on the fields of editorial, studio, advertising, fashion and documentary photography and is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the creative industry.
Students apply their learning through a series of practical assignments culminating in the production of a photo book, from which some of the images in this exhibition are taken.
The exhibition introduces you to a litter of new photographers showcasing their work for the first time.
The exhibition will be showing at Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre, 155 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle from Monday 22 June to Friday 10 July.
